Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information petloverofficial.com collects when you visit, how it is used, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.

Who we are

petloverofficial.com is an independent site run by two editors, Shiori and Daisuke. The site is hosted on WordPress.com, operated by Automattic Inc.

What we collect

  • Visit statistics. Our host records standard technical data such as pages viewed, referring site, browser type and approximate location, so we can see which guides are read. We see this only as aggregated statistics.
  • Comments. If you leave a comment, we store the name, email address and comment text you submit, along with your IP address and browser details to help detect spam. Your email address is never shown publicly.
  • Messages you send us. If you contact us through our contact form, we keep the name, email address and message you submit so we can reply.

Cookies and affiliate links

Our host uses cookies to run the site and measure traffic. When you click an affiliate link, the retailer or affiliate network may set a cookie so they can tell that your visit came from us. Those cookies are controlled by the other company, under its own privacy policy. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.

What we don’t do

We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it with brands we write about.

Third parties

Information handled by our host is covered by the Automattic privacy policy. Retailers and affiliate networks you reach through our links, including Amazon, have their own policies.

Your choices

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, through our Contact page. Depending on where you live, including California, you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor them.

Children

This site is written for adult pet owners and is not directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date below.
