petloverofficial.com publishes buying guides for US pet owners. Every guide is built from the companies’ own spec sheets, help centers and policy documents, and says plainly where those documents go quiet.
Why we started
Between a 15-year-old dog and three cats, we make a lot of buying decisions: what goes in the bowl, which litter box can keep up with three cats. Most of what we found online recycled the same product descriptions, so we started writing guides built from the companies’ own documents instead. You can meet the pets behind them.
Who we are
Shiori, co-editor. Writes across pet tech, feeding and gear.
Daisuke, co-editor. Reads the fine print nobody reads: waiting periods, per-condition deductibles, the exclusions a marketing page skips. Writes across insurance and vet costs, and checks documents line by line everywhere else.
Neither of us publishes a guide until the other has checked the numbers against the source.
What we cover
- Pet tech: cameras, GPS collars and automatic litter boxes
- Feeding: fresh food subscriptions and what they really cost
- Insurance & vet costs: reimbursement rates, deductibles, waiting periods and real bills
- Pet goods: toys, clothing and everyday gear (coming soon)
How we check a claim
- Primary sources only. Specs, prices, warranty terms and policy details come from the company itself, never from another round-up or a retailer listing.
- Gaps stay visible. When a company doesn’t publish a figure, we say so instead of borrowing one.
- Re-dated when re-checked. Each guide shows the month we last verified it.

How the site is funded
We may earn a commission on some links, at no extra cost to you. No brand pays for inclusion or ranking. The details are in our Affiliate Disclosure.
petloverofficial.com is independent and is not affiliated with any brand or insurer we write about. Nothing here is veterinary, insurance or financial advice: talk to your own vet, and read the policy documents before you buy.
